What we do
Advanced Media Production is a unique multidisciplinary scheme between the Departments of Computer Science, Theatre Film & Television Studies, and History & Welsh History, at Aberystwyth University, offering businesses and individuals, within the creative industries sector, access to high-level training to enable them to become more sustainable and efficient.
The scheme has been supported by the European Social Fund (Priority 2 ‘Skills for Growth’) through the Welsh Government.
Our aim is to enhance innovation and productivity in the Welsh creative industries’ sector by providing accredited training to exploit new technologies and practical skills in media.
Established in 1872, Aberystwyth University is a leading teaching and research university. It was awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF) in June 2018 and was named University of the Year for Teaching Quality in The Times | Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019 – the first university to be awarded the accolade for two years running.
